Girl Talk documents real conversations between girls and women, whether by phone call, text, or face to face interactions, combined with images of their mouths. The publication aims to present how women communicate with each other through speech. The images aim to separate the text and provide context as to who’s speaking and what they’re feeling. The composition of the text has been playful, which aims to give the dialogue life and character. The female identities remain hidden so the focus is on what’s being said, rather than who’s saying it.
